Watford Bridge Club honour

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Watford and Bushey Bridge Club’s 50th Anniversary celebrations at Beechen Grove Church to present founder member Alastair Allan with an award for 50 years service to the Bridge Club and the community of Watford.
Alastair Allan worked as a Councillor for twenty years here at Watford Borough Council and he served as civic mayor in 1988-89. He is also a Trustee of the Parmiter’s School Foundation.
